Fire Safety Audits

• Inspection of the site
• Indentify and list all fire equipment on site
• Report on any additional fire equipment required by legislation or as a safety requirement
• Report upon any issues requiring rectification to enable yearly fire statement to be submitted
• Supply costs for any additional installations required

• Report upon maintenance and service requirements on all fire equipment

Fire & Evacuation Plan Development

• Conduct a survey of the property to identify the methods of evacuation
• Discussion with on-site persons to develop a site specific evacuation plan
• Compilation and supply of Fire and Evacuation Plan (Fire Safety Management Plan) in electronic format
• Access to myQBM on-line instruction/ training system plus on-line storage of training certificates;
  • First response evacuation instruction/ training

  • Evacuation coordination instruction/ training

Fire & Evacuation Diagrams Development

• Conduct a survey of the site to identify the safety route of exit
• Develop site specific Evacuation Diagrams to comply with As3745-2002
• Supply and adhesive installation (BC only) of Evacuation Diagrams to common area in A4 laminated format

  • Other formats to be at additional cost

Submission only of Annual Fire Safety Statement

• Compilation of supplied maintenance records
• Confirmation of maintenance requirements base upon supplied Statement of fire installations
• Submission of Annual Fire Safety Statement to relevant authorities

  • Submission fees are extra cost

Management of Annual Fire Safety Statement

• QBM takes full responsibility for timely submission of Statement
• Organise all sub contractors to undertake fire maintenance and supply maintenance records by due date
• Independent review of any recommendations for upgrades / replacements to fire equipment by sub contractors
• Compilation of supplied maintenance records
• Confirmation of maintenance requirements based upon supplied Statement of fire installations
• Submission of Annual Fire Safety Statement to relevant authorities

Yearly Evacuation Drill Co-ordination

1. Where QBM has not been appointed the FSA

• Assist the Evacuation Co-ordinator to conduct an evacuation exercise
• Prepare a report and recommendations for the safe evacuation of the property
• Review of the Fire and Evacuation Plan and update as required to meet changed conditions
• Review of the Evacuation Diagrams

  • Any changes to be at an additional cost

2. Where QBM has been appointed the FSA

• Organise evacuation practice by sending letters to occupants of all units
• Review of the Fire and Evacuation Plan and update as required to meet changed conditions
• Review of the Evacuation Diagrams

  • Any changes to be at an additional cost

Fire and Evacuation Annual Review

• Review of the Fire and Evacuation Plan and update as required to meet changed conditions
• Review of the Evacuation Diagrams
  • Any changes to be at an additional cost
• Inclusion of submission of annual statement if required at an additional cost
