Fire Evacuation Diagrams and Plans

You must have Fire Evacuation Diagrams, Plans and Procedures in place at your premises.  These will identify escape routes and evacuation points for your building and there may also be an Emergency Control Organisation (ECO), for the building.

Did you know that you MUST have a BSA Fire Occupational license by the 1st January 2011 to carry out these tasks.  This time frame allows those impacted by the new laws, sufficient time to apply for the relevant fire licensing and where necessary, upgrade their skills to meet the minimum technical qualification.

QBM are ALREADY licensed professionals, whom are compliant with the new BSA Fire Occupational licensing which came into effect on the 1st January 2009.  We will ensure your building evacuation diagrams, plans and procedures are all up to date and compliant.

We recommend that you always ask for a copy of a contractors licence AND insurance before any contracts are signed to ensure that the work you are having carried out is being done by a valid qualified contractor.
