Asbestos Reassessment and Review

If asbestos has been identified on your site and you do not plan to remove it within the next 12 months, then according to Section 9.3.1 of the Workplace Health & Safety regulations, you must review or re-assess the asbestos at least every 12 months.
Asbestos Re-Assessments or reviews as they are called, the regulations are necessary to ensure the continued safety of all who work in and on the building.
An annual re-assessment will ensure that the condition and risk assessment on the identified asbestos materials, is always current so that if and when, it should start to deteriorate or be damaged; plans can be put into place to repair or replace the asbestos materials.
