Are you prepared?

Important: If you own or manage a workplace built prior to 1990, you must have a full asbestos audit. If you do not, you are in breach of the workplace health and safety act and you must have an audit immediately. Many building owners have only had an audit for asbestos materials. Now the audit must include what were called asbestos products, such as asbestos cement sheeting to walls and ceilings, vinyl floor coverings, roofing, fencing, gutters, pipes etc. There are thousands of products made from asbestos and more are being discovered all the time.

• All sampling will be analysed at a National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA) accredited laboratory.
